Competitive Fortnite returns to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this summer for the 2026 Esports World Cup (EWC). After a one-year hiatus, Epic Games has partnered with the Esports World Cup, which will host the $1M Reload Elite Series Championship.
Rather than a traditional Battle Royale Build or Zero Build format as we've seen in the past, Fortnite Reload offers a faster pace and ample eliminations. This article covers how players can qualify and the Duos that have secured spots to compete in Riyadh this August.
How to qualify for the Elite Reload Series Championship
Competitors across all seven worldwide Fortnite regions will compete across four qualifiers for a chance at the EWC 2026. One qualifier has completed already, with the first ten of four total Duos punching their ticket to the Reload Elite Series Championship. Three more qualifiers will follow over the coming months, leading up to August 2026.
