Fortnite's huge Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) "Cowabunga" collaboration event is here. In addition to the highly-anticipated arrival of the Shredder in Fortnite, Epic Games has much more to offer in this limited-time crossover. Players can finally get their hands on the Ninja Turtles' iconic weapons and even explore a separate TMNT Battle Pass with various rewards.
Here is a complete list of patch notes covering everything new in the Fortnite x TMNT event.
Fortnite Cowabunga event introduces TMNT Mythics
Four new Mythics have entered the Fortnite loot pool, and they are precisely what TMNT fans could have hoped to see. Available via normal Chests, Supply Drops, and Vending Machines, players can get their hands on the weapons of each Ninja Turtle.
Here is a complete list of TMNT Mythics in the Fortnite Cowabunga event:
- Leonardo's Katanas
- Raphael's Sai
- Michelangelo's Nunchaku
- Donatello's Staff
Although each weapon does not include unique attacks, you can still choose your favorite and run rampant on your opponents. The complete list of attacks and how to perform them can be found below:
- Attack – This is your primary attack, which you can trigger using the primary fire button.
- Air Attack – While in the air, click your primary fire button, and you will perform a midair attack on your enemy.
- Dash Attack – Your secondary fire button will perform a lunging attack with the weapon.
- Double Jump – Each weapon grants a Double Jump with no cooldown penalty.
Except for the Double Jump, you may use three attacks on each weapon before entering a ten-second cooldown period.

The return of Pizza Party and Driftboards
It wouldn't be a TMNT event without pizza, so Epic Games wisely chose to add the Pizza Party item back into the loot pool. Players can throw this item on the ground and consume pizza for health and shield. Additionally, you can carry the pizza in your inventory for a snack later in the game. These are available in normal Chests, floor loot, and directly from Splinter.
The ultra-popular Driftboards have also returned in the Fortnite Cowabunga event, and Epic has given them a TMNT makeover. Although they aren't skateboards like the Ninja Turtles typically ride, it's close enough.
Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, and April O'Neil are also back in the Item Shop, so you can unlock one or all to enjoy the Fortnite Cowabunga event. Enjoy the event before it ends on February 27 at 9 a.m. ET!
