Are you excited for Chapter 6 to begin in Fortnite?
Fortnite Chapter 5 is coming to an end very soon. With the game kicking off its final season, OG Chapter 2, this weekend, we know that Chapter 6 will begin at the start of December. But what about the Fortnite Chapter 6 live event? Well, here are some leaks about the event, including a release date and more.
Fortnite Chapter 6 live event release date
At the moment, we do not have an official release date for the Chapter 6 live event. However, we do know that the event will take place sometime between these dates:
- November 22 to 26, 2024

Like always, leaks start to flow out on the internet before a new Fortnite Chapter or Season just weeks before it begins. With the Chapter 6 live event set to happen in late November, we have very few leaks.
But... we still have one.
Posted by various and trusted leakers on X, Fortnite is officially play-testing the event — and the following image has been released.
What in the world is going on here? We see a portal with what looks like a bunch of spaceships. It's almost reminiscent of the Chapter 2 spaceships. We do know that November will be the OG Chapter 2 season, so it would not be far off to suggest that these are the same ships.
What is even more wild, though, is seeing the map flipping while also entering the portal. When we got the map for Chapter 3, the map completely flipped and we learned that the entire Chapter 3 map was just on the other side of the Chapter 2 map.
But why is the flipped map now going through a portal? How will time and space affect Chapter 6? There are so many questions, but still very few answers.
