Fans of Fortnite Reload have a reason to be excited as Epic Games teased it will organize Cash Cups during Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 for that specific game mode.
Although Epic Games has yet to officially confirm Reload Cash Cups for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, the company clearly teased their return on Aug. 12 via Fortnite Competitive's official account on X. As of the moment of this writing, there is no blog post on the game's official website with additional details.
Predictably, fans and content creators reacted positively to the news. After all, the first Reload Cups that took place earlier this month were popular amongst the community despite the lack of prize pools.

What are Fortnite Reload Cups?
Reload Cups are tournaments in Fortnite Reload, a particular game mode introduced in June that allows players to play in the acclaimed OG map. This mode sees 10 squads of four players each compete in either Battle Royale and Zero Build matches, exploring all of the famous points of interest (POIs) from Fortnite Chapter 1.
Earlier in August, Epic trialed Reload Cups for the first time across North America and Europe. Players formed teams of four to compete in up to seven games within two hours in a traditional Battle Royale setting or Zero Build. The teams earned points based on eliminations and placement.
While we have no additional details about Fortnite Reload Cash Cups in Chapter 5 Season 4 this time around, we at least know that Epic is planning to offer prize pools. It's unclear, though, if more regions will be eligible as well.
