Fortnite celebrates National Banana Day with the re-release of Peely skins!
Fortnite is celebrating Banana Day with its latest Item Shop update. You may not have known because we certainly didn’t, but April 16 is National Banana Day. While the significance is unknown, Fortnite has used this as an opportunity to bring famed mascot Peely back to the Item Shop.
This article explains everything you need to know about Banana Day in Fortnite, including what’s available and at what cost.
What is Banana Day in Fortnite?
Peely is arguably Fortnite’s most iconic character, alongside Jonesy. Given the humanoid banana’s significance, Epic Games has temporarily brought some Peely variations back into the Item Shop.
Below, you will find a list of the Peely skins available now with the price you can expect to pay for them:
- Adventure Peely – 1,200 V-Bucks
- Peely Bone – 1,500 V-Bucks
- Potassius Peels – 1,200 V-Bucks
- Peely Pick Pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
- Monks – 1,200 V-Bucks
While Monks is not a Peely variant, one could assume this character’s favorite food is bananas, so that’s close enough. Also, it’s worth noting that all of these skins have a LEGO variant you will receive for free.
