Aang arrives in Fortnite very soon!
The Fortnite Avatar: The Last Airbender collab event is imminent, following the official release of Korra in Chapter 5 Season 2. This article will explain everything you need to know about the event, including the release date and what it will feature.
When is the Fortnite Avatar collab event happening?
Epic Games has officially confirmed via an in-game message that the Fortnite Avatar collab will happen on April 12, likely in the morning. A landmass called "Aang's Island" appeared in-game in the map's upper-right corner. This not-so-subtle easter egg is an official teaser for the planned Fortnite x Avatar collab.
Ahead of the event, the Avatar character known as "Korra," who is part of the Chapter 5 Season 2 Battle Pass, became unlockable for Battle Pass owners today. Since we have a rough idea of when the collab will arrive, let's discuss what you can expect.

What else to expect in the Avatar collaboration
Fortnite has capitalized on separate mini-Battle Passes for these noteworthy collaborations of late, and leakers expect something similar for the Avatar crossover. Like the recent TMNT "Cowabunga" event, an "Elements Pass" will accompany the massive Last Airbender collaboration.
This Battle Pass will feature the usual "Free" and "Paid" tracks, offering different cosmetic rewards to both. Those interested in the Paid track can expect to pay 1,000 V-Bucks. The popular main character "Aang" will be automatically unlocked after purchasing the Premium Elements Pass.
The Fortnite Avatar collab event concludes on May 3, giving players ample time to enjoy the Elements Pass and all it offers before the season ends.
