Arcane characters Jinx and Vi will return to Fortnite in Chapter 7!
The Arcane Fortnite skins in Fortnite have become some of the most sought-after cosmetics in the game. Despite indications here and there, Jinx and Vi have not returned to the Item Shop in nearly four years. However, with Chapter 7 arriving soon, recent intel from Fortnite leakers has provided fans a glimmer of hope for their return.
Here's everything we know about the rumored return of Jinx and Vi to Fortnite, and when the leaks say both will return.
Are the Arcane skins returning to Fortnite?
Fortnite leaker HYPEX dropped the news that the Arcane skins will return in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1. Despite not providing a source, various other leakers have circulated the story, further proving its legitimacy. Unfortunately, that's all we know at this time.
Chapter 7 will launch following the Chapter Finale Zero Hour event on Saturday, Nov. 29. Once the new season arrives, Jinx and Vi could return anytime after that date. More details about precise dates should be available well in advance.
Why are Jinx and Vi so rare?
Based on the hit League of Legends-based Netflix show Arcane, Jinx and Vi are two of the rarest skins in Fortnite's Gaming Legends Series. They debuted as buyable skins in November 2021 and appeared only 22 times in the Item Shop.
The last time was on Feb. 5, 2022, nearly four years ago, making them desirable to thousands of Fortnite players. At 1,500 V-Bucks per skin, or 1,800 V-Bucks per bundle, Jinx and Vi are two characters that will fly off the shelf when they finally return.
Back in April, the status of the Arcane skins was very much up in the air. Riot Games co-founder Marc Merrill publicly stated that neither Epic Games nor Riot could find the "right fit" to bring them back. Although it's unclear what changed, HYPEX is as reliable as it gets as a Fortnite leaker.
