Fortnite Ballistic is officially here. Have you tried out the new first-person game mode yet?

Fortnite Ballistic is officially here, which means players can officially explore the new first-person mode. Like Valorant and Counter-Strike? Well, then this new mode is perfect for you.

Here is everything you need to know about Fortnite Ballistic, including how to play, weapons and characters you can use and more.

Play first-person Fortnite with Fortnite Ballistic

So, what is Fortnite Ballistic? The new first-person game mode is incredibly similar to games like Valorant and Counter-Strike. In fact, the first map of the game mode resembles Valorant's style.

Ballistic is a 5v5 game mode, which requires players to defuse or plant a bomb. There are multiple rounds, an economy system and more when playing.

Players can utilize different gadgets while facing off against each other, attempting to either defuse or place a bomb. And guess what? This is all happening while you are wearing your favorite Fortnite skin (yes, I will be playing as Chun-Li).

Maps, maps and more maps

At the moment, the game is premiering with only one playable map. However, Fortnite has stated that more maps are set to be released in the future.

Fortnite Ballistic maps:

  • Skyline 10

Weapons and economy

Like Valorant, the game has an economy. What this means is that players will earn Credits throughout the game depending on how they play, allowing them to purchase different weapons. Everyone starts out with a pistol and 800 Credits and will have to work their way through the economy for better weapons.

Below is a list of every weapon in Forntite Ballistic:

  • Nemesis Ar
  • Striker AR
  • Enforcer AR
  • Ranger Pistol
  • Hand Cannon
  • Hammer Pump Shotgun
  • Frenzy Auto Shotgun
  • Thunder Burst SMG
  • Hyper SMG
  • Reaper Sniper Rifle

The game has upwards of around 10-14 rounds, with the team switching from offense to defense (or the other way around) after six rounds. The game is decided by first-to-seven.

It will be interesting to see how well the game does over the next few weeks.
