Black Cat & Sabertooth Meowscles to join Fortnite Item Shop

Two new skins are coming to the Fortnite Item Shop: Black Cat and Sabertooth Meowscles. To match the current season, both skins are modeled after Marvel characters, with Black Cat being a direct pull from the comics and Sabertooth Meowscles being the Fortnite version of the infamous Sabertooth character.

The two new skins have already been hyped up quite a bit on Twitter and other socials. Fortnite gamers all around the world are preparing their V-Bucks for the outfits.

Both skins will leave the Item Shop just a day or two later. Make sure you grab them as soon as they release!

Both of these new Fortnite x Marvel skins have quite a bit of significance within pop culture at the moment, making them a massive cash grab for the Battle Royale.

The Marvel character, Sabertooth, recently made an appearance in the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie, which broke records at the box office. His character was played by Tyler Mane, who played the character in the original X-men movies, too.

So, what about Black Cat? The Marvel character has yet to make an appearance in any big comic book movies. Why is she trending all of a sudden?

Well, Spider-Man 4, with Tom Holland, is in development, and it is reported that the incredibly popular actress, Sydney Sweeney, will be portraying her.

Sweeney has been huge in the spotlight over the last year or so after her role in the HBO show, Euphoria, blew up.
