Fortnite collabs hit a new level in 2025, welcoming many recognizable musicians, content creators, and IPs to the game. Here are the best!

Fortnite collaborations have become a meme at this point. Once-hilarious fake screenshots from years ago have since become reality as the game continues to partner with any and every relevant IP, celebrity, athlete, and beyond. The year 2025 was no different for Fortnite, which provided some of the best collabs we've seen thus far in the game's storied history.

From Scooby Doo to the Power Rangers to The Simpsons to even Godzilla, Fortnite brings life to crossovers you would otherwise never think possible. Today, we are revisiting some of the best collabs of 2025 as the year comes to a close.

Godzilla x Fortnite was a collab for the ages

Fortnite kicked off the year with one of the most interesting collaborations, with the arrival of Godzilla in-game. Although Chapter 6 Season 1 began in 2024, the year 2025 allowed players to become the kaiju and wreak havoc on the entire lobby.

Here's how it worked: a portal would spawn during a match, and the first player through that portal would respawn as Godzilla. The abilities granted to the player included his signature Atomic Breath, a stomp, and, of course, the roar.

All non-Godzilla players had to band together to destroy the kaiju, and whoever dealt the most damage would receive some Godzilla-related loot. Overall, it was one of the most unique Fortnite collaborations of 2025, especially given that it led to playable versions of Godzilla, King Kong, and even Mechagodzilla.

Mortal Kombat x Fortnite: A crossover you would never expect

Another collaboration few expected in Fortnite occurred just one season later when Mortal Kombat debuted in-game. The reason no one thought this would happen is mainly the game series's gruesome, violent nature. However, this partnership proved that truly anything is possible.

Fortnite x Mortal Kombat introduced some of the franchise's iconic characters, including Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, and Kitana. Sub-Zero was specific to the Battle Pass, whereas the other three arrived later in the Item Shop.

However, the most fascinating aspect of this partnership was the changes to the map. Epic Games added T-rated versions of the Dead Pool, the Pit, and the Living Forest to the game temporarily. Players could also gain the abilities of Scorpion and Sub-Zero, which made this easily one of the most underrated Fortnite collabs of 2025.

An entire Fortnite season dedicated to Star Wars

Fortnite x Star Wars is not a new collab by any stretch of the imagination, but a Star Wars-centric season certainly was. Chapter 6 marked the first-ever Mini-Season in the game's history, which added more of the series's most recognizable characters.

Those include Emperor Palpatine, General Grievous, Mace Windu, Jar Jar Binks, and even Darth Jar Jar Binks and Apprentice Rey. Beyond the characters themselves, this season brought back Lightsabers while overhauling the entire loot pool to include only Star Wars-themed Blasters.

Some other notable additions included pilotable TIE fighters and X-wings, Star Wars points of interest (POIs), and, who could forget AI Darth Vader? He alone provided hours of entertainment to all who interacted with him, but also became the subject of controversy.

Still, while not the most well-received collab, the Galactic Battle Season was one for the books.

An entire Fortnite season dedicated to The Simpsons

The Simpsons was another Disney IP that became the subject of the game's second-ever Mini-Season. Many players had reservations going into this season, but it ended up being one of the more enjoyable experiences. Epic Games knocked it out of the park with the references and the Simpsons-centric map.

It also paved the way for characters from the series to become Fortnite skins, such as Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge, Krusty the Clown, Ned Flanders, and Homer Simpson in his underwear. Perhaps the season's best Easter egg was the addition of the couch gag, which players had a blast recreating. The Simpsons also featured a few Fortnite-related couch gags.

The weekly themed updates were also a nice touch, keeping the Mini-Season fresh while expanding on the Simpsons x Fortnite collab. Chapter 6 Mini-Season 2 will go down in history as one of the most slept-on crossovers in recent memory.

The many, many Fortnite anime collabs of 2025

Epic Games has discovered the winning formula: Fortnite plus anime equals profit. This sentiment is not specific to collabs in 2025, but the developers continued these partnerships with much success.

Here is a list of all anime that appeared in the game this year:

We won't go into too much detail with these, but it's no secret that there is some serious crossover between Fortnite and anime. These announcement trailers and collabs receive an incredible number of impressions and likely hundreds of thousands in revenue.

The Icon Series added more celebrities and creators

Fortnite's growing Icon Series saw the inclusion of nearly 40 new skins in 2025. In retrospect, it might be one of the most successful years from this perspective. Epic Games kicked off the year with Hatsune Miku headlining Fortnite Festival Season 7, which became an instant classic to many players.

Grammy Award-winning singer Sabrina Carpenter arrived in the game on season later, headlining Fortnite Festival Season 8. Along with the pop star were a pair of Emotes, including "Please Please Please" and "Taste." The former led to one of the more viral Fortnite clips of 2025.

Another standout Icon Series collab was the Fortnite x KPop Demon Hunters crossover. Epic Games added Mira, Rumi, and Zoey to the game just four months after the Netflix original movie broke records. Leakers have reported that another wave could arrive in 2026.

On the creator side of the Icon Series, Epic Games collaborated with competitive Fortnite legends Cody "Clix" Conrod and Martin "MrSavage" Foss-Andersen. These are two of the most recognizable names in the game's history, and some would argue that Clix is the face of competitive Fortnite.

Right before the end of the year, Internet personality and content creator IShowSpeed joined the Icon Series in one of the most sudden and unexpected crossovers. Some even theorized that the demand for this skin led to Fortnite going offline temporarily.

These merely scratch the surface of the Fortnite Icon Series collabs in 2025. Here are the others as a quick refresher:

A truly stacked Fortnitemares 2025 lineup

No Fortnite event in 2025 could rival what Fortnitemares provided this year, with more collabs than anyone could have anticipated. This year's Halloween event brought the likes of Art the Clown, Ghostface, Doja Cat, Scooby Doo, Jason Voorhees, The Grabber from The Black Phone, Wednesday Addams, and Poppy Playtime.

Every day, it felt like Epic Games or the various Fortnite leakers would reveal another insane collaboration that few ever expected. These skins delivered what even the most dedicated fans could have imagined beforehand, especially Art the Clown, who was as creepy in-game as he is in the Terrifier films.

2025 Fortnite collabs (honorable mentions)

Unfortunately, there were far too many collabs to highlight in-depth, but it is worth adding a list of honorable mentions. Some of our favorites included all of the classic Power Rangers, Superman, Adventure Time, and, more recently, Marty McFly.

However, the Power Rangers collab deserves immense praise, especially since the IP has remained silent over the past few years, and it's a series that hits close to home. Although it may not resonate with Fortnite's younger demographic, the Power Rangers is a peak of the 1990s.

Many of the collabs listed above and more appeared in the Fortnite Zero Hour event, which marked the end of Chapter 6. It was the picture-perfect conclusion to the Chapter, and we hope to see more of it in the future.
