Has Benfn actually won more than some of the best FNCS players out there?

Fortnite players on TikTok might have come across a unique personality named BenFn. A quick Google search of his name and how many titles he has won reveals he has 17 titles won and nearly $40 million in prize money earnings. However, the streamer has admitted it is not the truth and has come clean on exactly how many FNCS titles he has won and how much he has earned from these victories.

How many FNCS titles has Benfn won?

Benfn has won zero FNCS titles even though his Google search might say otherwise. The content creator saw an opportunity to get more views and followers and planted a joke - one that saw his channel's viewership explode.

Benfn's journey includes dedication and consistency - with an understanding of what's trending and seizing the opportunity.

Benfn is an anonymous content creator who has made videos claiming to have won 17 FNCS titles and having won nearly $40 million in prize winnings. But it’s all fiction as the streamer himself claims. Benfn started as a small streamer on June 27, 2020, uploading his first Fortnite videos under the name GT BEN.  At the time, he was a mobile player and his videos were not of a high quality. His consistent approach to creating content and uploading new videos helped him improve his following and the quality of his videos.

He joined Team Extinct and soon he also became the owner of the team. He uploaded videos of other popular content creators such as Clix, Mongral, and more. The content creator saw improved following both on his personal as well as the team’s account. Wanting to focus on his content creation journey, Benfn sold the team and started to focus on his main TikTok page.

I wanted to be known for a trend. I wanted to stand out. Although I had 100,000 viewers, I wanted to go above and beyond. Which is exactly what happened next.

On May 28, 2024, Benfn made a discovery - one that would alter his popularity in a short time. He found out how to get the FNCS Pickaxe for free - without actually winning FNCS. The video was extremely popular and Benfn used the FNCS keyword to continue to make content on TikTok using the Pickaxe.

On May 28, Benfn found a way to obtain the FNCS Pickaxe without actually winning a FNCS title.

It was around this time that Benfn realized there was a huge demand for FNCS related content on TikTok. He continued to make videos related to FNCS, even tweaking some of his videos to fool Google search. Fans searching on Google would see Benfn won 17 FNCS titles, which was far from the truth.

In reality, Benfn has won zero titles. He doubled down on the same content but this time with earnings, and that was yet again another popular video on his channel. The number of Benfn’s followers grew massively in size, reaching almost five times since he started the FNCS trend.

How much has BenFn earned from his FNCS victories?

Benfn claimed to have won over 17 FNCS titles and over $40 million in prize winnings. But that was just fiction and not entirely true.

BenFn has zero FNCS victories and even though his fans might want to believe he is a top esports player, he’s not. The player has zero earnings from FNCS esports and has used the trending keyword to gain followers and views on TikTok.

Despite his self-described ‘cringe’ videos, Benfn remains extremely popular on TikTok and YouTube. At the time of writing, the player has 45.3k followers on YouTube and many more on TikTok. However, he is yet to win a single FNCS title.
