Details regarding Fortnite Chapter Seven have begun to emerge ahead of the cinematic Chapter 6 Finale event. Many Fortnite creators have gathered for an event to see what Chapter Seven is all about. Among the details, a Fortnite x Back to the Future crossover has come to light, including a Marty McFly skin and the iconic DeLorean.
Here's what we know about the Back to the Future Fortnite collaboration, including our first look at the Marty McFly skin.
First look at the Marty McFly Back to the Future Fortnite skin
Unfortunately, the few screenshots of the Marty McFly skin belong in the "potato quality" category. In any case, you can see him in the third slot of the first row in the screenshot above. The Fortnite skin appears to utilize Michael J. Fox's likeness, who portrayed Marty McFly in the Back to the Future trilogy.
As far as the appearance, it looks incredible. You can even spot Marty's self-tying Nike Mag sneakers from Back to the Future II in the only other known Fortnite screenshot. Beyond that, Marty has his red jacket, jeans, and, hopefully, a skateboard or hoverboard will be in the collaboration as well.
All signs point to Marty McFly joining The Bride from Kill Bill in the Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass. We'll have to wait and see what other Back to the Future cosmetics will be available when the new Fortnite season launches following the Chapter Finale Zero Hour event.
What about the DeLorean?
One thing we know for sure is that the DeLorean will be in Fortnite. We know this because a real-life version of the vehicle appeared at the Chapter 7 preview event. As a result, it's safe to assume there will be a drivable DeLorean available in some form.
Ultimately, we will have to wait and see what else Epic Games has in store. The possibilities are endless with this collab, and we could even see Doc Brown in Fortnite if the stars align.
