Is FM25 even still going ahead?
Since the announcement that FM25 is being delayed until March 2025, there has been near radio silence from Sports Interactive. The game was pushed back as a result of major issues with moving the long-running Football series over to Unity Engine.
There was huge backlash to this move, with fans very frustrated at having to wait longer for the latest edition. Since that announcement, the only update has been the extension of FM24 sales until FM25 releases.
Is FM25 still releasing?
Despite fans expressing concern at the silence around the next Football Manager instalment, the game is currently on track with the revised schedule. In the announcement that the game was delayed Sports Interactive stated that "The new gameplay reveal will also now move to the end of January 2025."
That means that there is no major cause for concern at the moment. It is understandable that fans are nervous about the release date, after the multiple pushbacks.
However, there is nothing to indicate that Football Manager 25 isn't on track for the delayed March release.
