Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash trailer explained: Yuta Okkotsu
The Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash trailer kicks off with an introduction to Yuta. In the Jujutsu Kaisen manga and anime, Yuta is a supporting character. However, in the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie and manga, he's the protagonist.
After the brief introduction, Yuta uses his sword and summons Rika to fight against Geto. Rika is Yuta's childhood friend and they once promised to marry each other later in life. After Rika died due to a car accident in front of Yuta, the latter character was unable to accept her death. This resulted in Rika becoming a special grade cursed spirit.
The trailer then shows Yuta and Rika using a powerful move to defeat Geto. This move is a direct reference to Jujutsu Kaisen 0 since Yuta proclaimed his love for Rika to unleash a lot of cursed energy. After defeating Geto, Rika's spirit separated from the curse and she was able to pass on.

Geto enters Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash
The Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash trailer then introduces Geto. Just like in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, he uses several attacks on Yuta while mocking him. Geto then uses the Maximum: Uzumaki move.
"This is the world I longed for. Right before my eyes," Geto says. In Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Geto attempted to eliminate Yuta and steal Rika. Geto wanted more power because he wished for a world with only jujutsu sorcerers like himself.
Maki joins the fray in cursed technique battles
Yuta and Geto's Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash trailer notes that the game has two-versus-two cursed technique battles. It shows Maki and Yuta teaming up to fight against Geto. Maki's battle against Geto also happened in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, and Geto disliked Maki because she was born as a non-sorcerer.
The trailer then ends with information about the Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash release date of Feb. 1.
