The Arc World Tour (AWT) 2025-2026 Finals is a big celebration of fighting games by the legendary studio Arc System Works. The ongoing titles have top-level tournaments. The upcoming one, MARVEL Tōkon is presented to the public in its newest build: you can play X-Men.
The event takes place in Seoul, South Korea, from March 20 to March 22. Traveling there is exciting but might be troublesome. While there were no official announcements on the esports circuit for MARVEL Tōkon yet, it's not too difficult to connect the dots in the developers' plans.
- The release date for MARVEL Tōkon is Aug. 8.
- The current World Tour spans two years, with 2025-2026 in its name.
- The next circuit should be the AWT 2027 — which can be a perfect opportunity to include Guilty Gear Strive 2.0 and MARVEL Tōkon.
One thing is certain: MARVEL Tōkon esports tournaments are inevitable! CEO 2026 has officially confirmed this game in the competitive lineup: the event is from Aug. 14 to Aug. 17.
With all the love for Arc System Works and their games, there still is a flavor of uncertainty in the community — about MARVEL Tōkon. The reason is in the most recent release by this studio, the tag-team fighter Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact. It offers a fun experience but clearly lacks the single-player content and general high-quality polish.
The presence of MARVEL Tōkon at the AWT 2025-2026 should clearly prove that the developers have taken a different path this time.
