Senaru is UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II winner at EVO 2024

Another champion at EVO 2024 has been crowned. Senaru has become the EVO 2024 Champion for UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes. His dominant run through the nearly 1,600 participants has been monumental to say the least. Senaru is a force to be reckoned with in tandem with Eltnum, as he took no prisoners in his climb to the top.

Despite the largest bracket to date for UNDER NIGHT with almost 1600 participants, Senaru had an insanely strong run at EVO 2024. Senaru stayed in the winner's bracket throughout his entire tournament run, not dropping a single series. On top of that, for added measure, in his first four matches, he didn't drop a single round.

Then came Senaru's Top six run at EVO 2024, which gave him a run for his money. The top six included Mo.Sin, Mario, Oushuu-hittou, Notes and Defiant, who all had their eyes set on taking the title for their own.

Right out the gate in his first match, Senaru faced off against the same player who eliminated him from EVO Japan earlier this year, Oushuu-Hittou. The match was a huge back and forth between the two rivals. But in the end Senaru was able to take revenge for EVO 2024 Japan and win 2-1.

His next match was against Mo.Sin in Winner's Finals. Despite Mo.Sin's Kuon who capitalized on zoning and mid range threats, Senaru capitalized on Eltnum's aggression. Regardless of the adjustments Mo.Sin made between rounds, Senaru didn't let up. And with that, Senaru advanced to Grand Finals.

However, Mo.Sin despite being knocked to losers, wasn't done with Senaru. He climbed his way back through the Losers Bracket to rematch Senaru in the Grand Finals. With the momentum of taking down Notes, Mo.Sin starts the Grand Finals of EVO 2024 UNDER NIGHT by going all out aggression, which led him to taking game one. That said, Senaru matched Mo.Sin's aggression and more, to run it back and beat Mo.Sin into a corner, comboing Mo.Sin until his health bar hit 0. With that Senaru became the EVO 2024 UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes Champion

And with that, another champion at EVO 2024 has been crowned.
