Riot Games has made several major changes to 2XKO over the past six months.
Riot Games just revealed some major updates about their 2XKO fighting game. The reveal also arrived with the Alpha Lab 2 release date.

2XKO playtest in Alpha Lab 2
On March 27, Audrey “Riot Fooey” Miano made an official post about what to expect in the next 2XKO playtest. This is also known as Alpha Lab 2. The playtest will feature Jinx as a playable champion.

Here is Jinx's full movelist in 2XKO. In addition to her Specials, Supers, and Super Mega Death Rocket Monkey Cannon Ultimate, she has Watch Your Feet, Sliding, Watch This, and Watch Your Head as Unique Moves.
2XKO Ranked lobbies in Alpha Lab 2
Next, the playtest will include two new playstyle modifiers or Fuses called Sidekick and Juggernaut, the replacement of Pulse Fuse and Fury Fuse with Pulse Comb and Fury Break respectively, plus 2XKO Ranked lobbies. In these competitive lobbies, the ranks go from Aspirant Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger.

Alpha Lab 2 will also feature core gameplay changes such as Pushblock becoming Push Assist, KO and Super Assists updates, the Limit Strike system, and more. There will be updates to controls, visuals, lobbies, voice lines in the tutorial, the in-game settings, and cosmetics as well.
The announcement arrived alongside a video, too. The 2XKO developers talked about all of the major gameplay changes since Alpha Lab 1 before walking players through Jinx as the newest champion. This video can be viewed below.
2XKO Alpha Lab 2 release date
In terms of the Alpha Lab 2 release date, it will happen between April 18 and April 20. This 2XKO playtest will be available in the U.S., Canada, and Brazil on Windows PC and PlayStation 5.
"Xbox Series X|S is not selectable for first-time playtesters. If you played on Xbox Series X|S during Alpha Lab 1 and are invited to Alpha Lab 2, you’ll be able to redownload the game from your console library," Riot Games stated.
