2XKO players sure hope so.
The Alpha Lab playtest for 2XKO has begun, and a lot of players don't know if the game supports cross-platform play.
Nowadays, many games support cross-platform play to accommodate gamers scattered across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. So, it's only logical that fighting game fans want this feature in Riot Games' promising new title, especially because VALORANT supports crossplay across consoles.
Find out below if 2XKO supports cross-platform play.
Does 2XKO support cross-platform play?
Yes, 2XKO supports cross-platform play. However, it has some limitations during the Alpha Lab playtest that kicked off on Aug. 8, according to Riot Games.
"Cross-platform play is available between PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 players located in the same region," Riot said. "We plan to support cross-region private matches in the future, but cross-region play will not be available during Alpha Lab."
This means that if you're on PlayStation 5, for example, you can play with friends on other platforms as long as they're in the same region as you — let's say, North America. If you want to use cross-platform play with friends from other continents, you'll have to wait until Riot expands the feature.
