How to get MultiVersus Prestige points

To obtain Prestige points or Prestige currency in MultiVersus, you must acquire cosmetic items. Each item awards you with its own Prestige currency value. This is based on item type and rarity. A way to obtain cosmetics is through the Battle Pass. Players also have the option to purchase these items through the in-game store.

What does MultiVersus Prestige currency do?

This in-game currency lets you unlock Prestige cosmetics for your MultiVersus fighters. These Prestige items are also the rarest cosmetics in the game since they can only be obtained via Prestige points.

When MultiVersus launched on May 28, 2024, returning players received some Prestige currency based on their previous collection of cosmetic items from the open beta.

What happened to Gold in MultiVersus?

According to Player First Games, Gold is no longer available in MultiVersus. In place of this currency are commemorative cosmetics that correlate to the Gold earned during the open beta.

"These are exclusive items that can’t be earned any other way. Keep a lookout for them in your inventory," an official post stated.
