A new crossover event starts in Brawlhalla. It brings three characters from the Borderlands series to the platform fights.

Another big franchise has joined the long list of crossovers in Brawlhalla. Starting on August 7, you can spend your Mammoth Coins on character skins from the Borderlands games. Read on to check out who they are, what Legends get Brawlhalla: Vault Hunters crossovers, and the instructions on how to obtain them.

When does Brawlhalla: Vault Hunters start?

The official start of this crossover event is August 7, 2024. This means you can head to the game's store, Mallhalla, and purchase:

  • Three Brawlhalla: Vault Hunters crossover skins featuring characters from Borderlands
  • Borderlands related items such as avatars, sidekicks, emotes, weapons, and more

Usually, Brawlhalla crossover events continue from two weeks to a month. When Brawlhalla: Vault Hunters is over, the crossover skins will still be available for purchase, but the related items may not be available unless the event gets its rerun period.

Brawlhalla: Vault Hunters characters and base Legends

The Borderlands series joins 20 other crossover franchises in Brawlhalla. On one hand, all these characters are just skins for base Legends, so they use the Light attacks of the original weapons. But on the other hand, crossover characters have unique Signature kits. Their Sigs (special attacks) are based on the original games or films in terms of animation, and they have different practical features: frame data, hurt boxes, and reach.

Three Borderlands characters made it to Brawlhalla: Vault Hunters. Below, you’ll also find information on the base Legends and their weapon pairs.

Krieg — Barraza crossover: Axe and Blasters

This somewhat weird guy is from the game Borderlands 2. Krieg is of the Psycho type. He was abandoned in his childhood and became a bounty hunter. At some point, Dr. Benedict captured Krieg and conducted awful experiments on him. Surprisingly, this made him stronger and gave him a stronger will to live, even if Krieg is not the most sane person.

In Brawlhalla, Krieg is the first crossover skin for Barraza. His weapons include a slow but damaging Axe and quick Blasters. The animation has lots of fire and the general rampage spirit.

Lilith — Reno crossover: Blasters and Orb

She is a Siren-class character from the original game Borderlands and one of the series’ protagonists. Lilith has magic abilities, which is super rare. She doesn’t really want to reveal where her Witch (or Siren) powers come from. This character is present in all of the main games and also in the Borderlands film.

As a Brawlhalla character, Lilith is the first crossover for Reno, having Blasters and Magic Orb as weapons. Both emphasize ranged attacks since they are relatively quick. However, they have somewhat limited damage. The Sigs have a good launching effect. The animation even features fire wings of Lilith from the original game.

Tiny Tina — Scarlet crossover: Hammer and Rocket Lance

This character is an NPC in a few Borderlands games and a DLC character in Borderlands 2. As a small child, Tiny Tina was sold for mutant experiments. Her parents also were there, and they died because of that. Tiny Tina managed to escape the horrible laboratory thanks to a grenade. This affected her future as an explosion master, but the personality of Tiny Tina was ruined after that. She is explosive and uncontrollable.

Borderlands Tiny Tina is the first crossover skin for the Brawlhalla Legend Scarlet. Her weapons are big and highly damaging: Hammer and Rocket Lance. The downside is slow attacks, so it is rather difficult to land hits

Mythic crossover characters in Brawlhalla cost 400 Mammoth Coins (with adjusted Light Attacks). Epic skins, with only Sigs being unique, cost 300 Mammoth Coins. The biggest package with the lowest price is 1,600 MC for $49.99.

Time after time, Brawlhalla has discounts for crossover skins and items. Such reruns of the previous events happen rarely, though.
