A Tekken World Tour 2024 Master Event

Arguably, the most interesting tournament of Battle Arena Melbourne 14 is for the game Tekken 8. It has the highest, Master, level in the global league Tekken World Tour 2024. Australia is located relatively near such powerful esports regions as South Korea and Japan, so we can expect some of the strongest competitors in the world to attend this event.

The previous TWT 2024 Master event was at Combo Breaker, and AK from the Philippines won it. In 2023, Knee celebrated victory at Tekken 7 BAM 14.

Top players at Battle Arena Melbourne 14

Many local fighting games players will participate in the tournaments hoping to earn global standing points. Still, they will have to fight some pretty strong guests, who have similar plans.

  • Ulsan — a Tekken player from South Korea. He performs well in many AfreecaTV TEKKEN League 2024 tournaments and has some victories. He was 3rd at Tekken 7 World Tour Finals 2023.
  • LowHigh — another Korean player. He was 2nd at the Tekken 8 tournament at Evo Japan 2024.
  • Chanel — he finished 3rd at Evo Japan 2024. This Korean player also has the potential to win the T8 tournament at BAM 14.
  • Chand NY — a Tekken player from Pakistan. He was 3rd at BAM 13.
  • Yagami — one of the strongest Australian Tekken players.
  • Book — this player from Thailand had really good results in Tekken 7. Book should still find his game in T8.
  • Leo — a Japanese player, the Guilty Gear Strive Champion at BAM 13.
  • BlitzkrieG — a pretty strong Australian GGST player.
  • Tyurara — a player from Japan who competes in GGST and GBVSR. He was 3rd at Guilty Gear Strive Evo Japan 2024.

More pretty interesting tournaments happen on the same weekend, June 1-2, in the USA — at DreamHack Fighters 2024. Stick around on esports.gg for all fighting games news and announcements!
