Riot Games just officially confirmed the exact release date for Caitlyn in 2XKO. They also shared the gameplay trailer for her.
2XKO Caitlyn release date
Caitlyn will soon become a playable 2XKO champion starting Jan. 20 to Jan. 21 on multiple platforms. These will include PC, Xbox Series X|S, and the PlayStation 5.
Her entrance will be part of 2XKO Season 1, where she'll join other fighters such as Vi, Jinx, Warwick, Ekko, Ahri, Yasuo, Blitzcrank, Braum, Illaoi, Darius, and Teemo.

Here is the Caitlyn's gameplay reveal trailer. In it, she uses her rifle to go against opponents such as Darius, Ahri, Yasuo, Illaoi, Blitzcrank, Warwick, Jinx, and even Vi. One of her abilities features a steel trap topped with a cupcake, which is a nod to Vi's nickname for her. Caitlyn also appears to have a forward-moving shield alongside powerful headshots and blasts from her weapon.
How to unlock Caitlyn in 2XKO
According to the official 2XKO account on X, Caitlyn will be available for free. Unlocking her will require completing missions during her champion recruitment event. This event will begin on either Jan. 20 or Jan. 21 depending on your location.
Alternatively, players will be able to unlock her instantly via either the Ultra Battle Pass or a Champ Token.
2XKO Arcane champions
Back in December, the official 2XKO account first revealed Caitlyn as yet another Arcane champion to join the roster. However, the account also acknowledged the frequency of champions from the Netflix series.
At the time of publishing this article, 2XKO's Arcane champions are Caitlyn, Vi, Jinx, Warwick, and Ekko.
