Real Madrid star Vini JR has announced his entry into esports as co-owner of LOUD.
Brazilian Real Madrid player Vinícius Junior has joined Brazilian esports organization LOUD as a co-owner. Vini Jr.'s partnership with LOUD aims to "create content, elevate youth sports, and accelerate educational programs in the region," reveals the organization in a press release.
At 23 years old, Vini Jr. is one of the most significant figures not only in Real Madrid but also in Brazilian football. He's scored 63 goals in seven years at the Spanish club.
What to expect from Vini Jr. as LOUD co-owner
Now as co-owner of LOUD, Vini Jr. celebrates the partnership with the esports organization: “Partnering with LOUD was a perfect fit. Together, we'll produce great content, encourage young gamers to prioritize their studies, and support the next generation of athletes, either on the pitch or on the screen."
"Vini Jr. represents how gaming culture is evolving beyond the screen and into fashion, sports, and even social causes," reveals Bruno Bittencourt, cofounder of LOUD.
Bruno even says that both will "exercise that new identity by developing original content, supporting youth education, and finding new ways to improve communities throughout Brazil and Latin America"
Vini Jr.'s relationship with games
The Real Madrid player joins LOUD, an organization that had its roots in Free Fire and content creation, but quickly expanded. Three-time champion of CBLOL, the Brazilian LoL league, and champion of VCT Champions in 2022, LOUD is today a powerhouse in esports thanks to its large fan base.
Vini Jr. has been building a relationship with video games. The active partnership with PlayStation and EAFC, even being on the cover of the 2024 edition of the game, are some of the player's initiatives in the area.
The player has his own social and educational institute for Brazilians who are unable to have the opportunity. The institute also recently published an anti-racism book to help Brazilian schools build more inclusive and equitable education. Through this partnership, LOUD will strengthen early education efforts, introduce new content and expand the reach of the tool.
