Esports training camp by M80 and IMG Academy

This esports camp lets participants learn from professionals such as M80 vice president of esports Don “Syyko” Mui and Mind Body Esports clinical director Edward Cleland as well.

“Providing the structure needed for the growth of generational talent is critical to developing esports in North America, and M80 is proud to be leading the charge,” M80 CEO and founder Marco Mereu said. “With over 300 universities offering esports scholarships in North America, there’s never been a more important time to provide a path to those opportunities, both in professional and collegiate play."

Mereu then added that his organization's partnership with IMG Academy offers a unique program that "leans on the esports leaders of today to inspire the pro players of tomorrow."

Chris Ciaccio, the chief commercial officer at IMG Academy, also shared his thoughts. He said that the combination of IMG Academy's specialization in holistic personal development and M80's in-game training equips participants with valuable life skills that go beyond competitive gaming.

“This partnership allows us to be at the forefront of esports growth, helping aspiring gamers develop, compete, and excel at the highest levels," he added.

After signing up, both the participant and their guardian can enter an online session with M80 representatives, get an overview of the program, and talk about the participant's gaming background.
