DreamHack Dallas 2025 set a record by attracting more than 60,000 attendees over the weekend. Here are the festival’s esports highlights!
DreamHack Dallas 2025 set an attendance record by welcoming more than 60,000 fans over the weekend. Organized by ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), the gaming festival took place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, TX and built on its 2024 turnout of 55,000 attendees.

DreamHack Dallas 2025 breaks attendee record
The event also set records by featuring more than 600 creators and over $2 million in esports competitions. Major tournaments included ones like Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Dallas, the ESL Impact Season 7 Grand Final, and Call of Duty League (CDL) Major IV. On top of all this, DreamHack Dallas 2025 spotlighted over 125 local game developers and artists, hosted the Overwatch 2 Stadium Showdown on the main stage, ran a cosplay contest, welcomed TikTok creators, had a live raid featuring a World of Warcraft (WoW) guild, and more.
Guy Blomberg, the event director of DreamHack Festivals Americas, called DreamHack Dallas 2025 one of their most ambitious festivals to date. "From our largest creator lineup to fans flying in from across the country, Dallas showed up in full force," he added. "We set out to create a space where gaming communities could connect, and the energy on the show floor proved we delivered."

- Radu C won the GeoGuessr Americas Major

In terms of other DreamHack Dallas 2025 highlights, the festival had major esports moments across multiple titles. Team Vitality swept MOUZ 3-0 to win IEM Dallas, FURIA took down Imperial in the ESL Impact Season 7 Grand Final, plus LA Thieves and OpTic Gaming claimed titles in Call of Duty and Halo, respectively.
Meanwhile, commandstation made history as the first woman to win an official HCS free-for-all LAN. Additional winners at the festival included ENVY in VALORANT, Maru in StarCraft 2, HMBLE in Brawl Stars, Oleksandr Bortnyk in chess, and Radu C in GeoGuessr.

When is the next DreamHack?
DreamHack Dallas 2025 may be over, but fans of the festival can now look forward to DreamHack Atlanta 2025. This event will go from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2. Then, DreamHack Stockholm 2025 will run from Nov. 28 to Nov. 30 and feature even more major esports tournaments such as the first-ever The Finals Major and the second iteration of the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) World Finals.
