Riot Games and more announce new Arcane art book

Riot Games, Fortiche, and Insight Editions have announced a brand-new book featuring the art and narrative genesis of the show. Read on for details about The Art and Making of Arcane.

The Art and Making of Arcane has a release date of December 31, 2024. Written by Elisabeth Vincentelli, this book highlights all the artistry poured into Arcane Season 1 and Season 2. According to an official announcement, this book also has artwork and interviews that fans have never seen before.

For example, some of the interviews are with Arcane co-creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee, supervising directors Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord, plus the studio heads of Fortiche.

This book has different versions on offer as well, including the Artifact Edition, the Portfolio Edition, and the Standard Edition. Every version of The Art and Making of Arcane includes a Jinx poster, a Vander letter, a Piltover map, some fold-out spreads, and more.

However, only the Artifact Edition and Portfolio Edition come with exclusive items such as tarot cards, prints, autographs, a vinyl album, statues, and bookends. Note that there's also a special Jinx Edition. There are only 40 copies of this one.

"Never one to let a ceremony pass undisrupted, Jinx has left her indelible mark on 40 hyper-rare, totally
exclusive, and randomly distributed copies of the Artifact Edition," the announcement stated. "Will you be lucky enough to get Jinxed?"
