My Hero Academia Season 7 manga spot, cast, and more

A new American hero will join the fray.

After a year's wait from the end of Season 6, My Hero Academia Season 7 is just a few weeks away. The anticipated return is set to start with the fan-favorite Star and Stripe arc, putting a new character at center stage and setting up the series’ conclusion.

Here’s everything you should know about My Hero Academia Season 7, from its release date to arcs covered to voice actors.

What is the Release date for My Hero Academia Season 7?

The release date for Season 7 of My Hero Academia will release on May 4, 2024. It will mark just under one-and-a-half years since Season 6.

The most recent season ended at roughly Chapter 328 in the manga, so the starting spot for MHA Season 7 will be Chapter 329. It will start with the Star and Stripe arc and likely cover all of the U.A. Traitor arcs. Season 7 should also set up the Final War arc, which will be covered in Season 8 and possibly even 9.

Here’s a list of the release dates for all of the seasons so far.

Will Season 7 be the final season of MHA?

The anime for My Hero Academia will not end during Season 7. There will almost certainly be a Season 8 that wraps up the series.

The Final War arc will be the very last segment of My Hero Academia, reuniting pretty much every hero and villain for one last climactic showdown. It’s all but confirmed to be the final saga of the story, but Season 7 of the anime shouldn’t even get halfway through the ongoing story. Almost every season of My Hero Academia covers around 75 chapters, give or take, and the Final War arc currently has 74 and counting. One season just won’t be enough to cover it all.
