Are you ready to experience the heartbreak that is Gojo and Geto’s relationship on the big screen?
Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK) can milk their franchise all they want. Fans will still be there for it. The popular anime announced recently that they will be releasing a compilation movie covering the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc, which is the first five episodes of Season 2.
Here is everything we know about the new JJK movie.
Jujutsu Kaisen to release compilation movie
MAPPA will never let the Jujutsu Kaisen hype go down, as the studio plans to release a compilation movie that will show the five episodes that portray the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc.
These arcs give fans some backstory of Gojo and Geto, two of the show's most popular characters, as they work together to fight against cursed spirits. From Gojo's Hollow Purple to Geto's rampage, these five episodes are some of the most intense parts of the JJK story.
So, when does the new JJK movie release?

Jujutsu Kaisen movie release date
As of now, the only information we know is that the Jujutsu Kaisen compilation movie will be released at some point in 2025. Fans also have high hopes that Season 3 of the show will premiere in 2025, too.
It is of high probability, though, that the movie will be released before the show's new season begins.
There has been no information on whether or not the movie will get a global release, but is expected due to how popular the original JJK movie was in theaters.
Jujutsu Kaisen is not the only anime to get a compilation movie, though, as Attack on Titan is releasing a film that consists of the last two specials which both premiered back in 2023.
Will the movie have new content?
It is highly unlikely that the new Jujutsu Kaisen movie will have any new content because it is just a compilation of the first five episodes of Season 2. The chances of it having enhanced visuals and sound, though, are high, as it will be edited for a theatrical release.
