Final Destination returns after 14 years for Bloodlines

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for Final Destination Bloodlines, the highly anticipated sixth installment in the horror franchise. The file will hit theaters on May 16, 2025, and promises the gruesome, suspenseful deaths fans expect.

The teaser for Final Destination Bloodlines introduces a chilling new storyline. Richard Harmon, who plays a tattoo artist, becomes the first victim as a normal day at work turns horrifying. Ceiling fan, metal chain and flammable tattoo ink lead Harmon's character to a gruesome end. Given the franchise's long history of Rube Goldberg-esque death traps, this scene sets up the new installment perfectly.

Horror icon, Tony Todd will posthumously reprise his role as William Bludworth, the owner of Bludworth Funeral Homes who features in the first three (chronological) installments. Bludworth has expert knowledge of Death, often explaining the laws of death to the characters.

According to a report by Bloody Disgusting, Final Destination Bloodlines will explore the backstory of Todd's character, including a potential flashback to his childhood explaining his connection to Death. Whatever be the case, the return of the Candyman veteran, makes Bloodlines a must-watch.

Coming in 14 years after the release of Final Destination 5, Bloodlines is one of the most anticipated Horror movies of the decade. Many fans grew up watching the original pentalogy, and have eagerly awaited a new installment ever-since. With the brilliant death traps and incredible sequences making their return, Bloodlines is set to deliver exactly what fans want on May 16, 2025.
