Season release and plot

Black Mirror Season 7 will consist of six episodes dropping exclusively on Netflix on April 10. According to the trailer, we're coming back to an OG Black Mirror featuring characters from Season 4 such as Cristin Milioti as Nanette Cole.

One of the episodes is a sequel to “USS Callister” where a computer programmer is unwittingly sucked into a video game. Not spoiling the ending of that episode, some characters will come back to Season 7. You can check the trailer here.

As usual, this season will keep going with thought-provoking storylines, such as a mind-altering device reminiscent of the Grain technology from previous episodes, and intense scenarios involving Artificial Intelligence.

"They’re all sci-fi stories, but there’s definitely some horrifying things that occur, but maybe not in an overt horror movie way. There’s definitely some disturbing content in it," Charlie Brooker told Netflix, adding that the episodes are "back to basics in many ways." Charlie Brooker has been the executive producer behind Black Mirror since 2011 alongside Jessica Rhoades and Annabel Jone.
