Beast Games Season 2 Episode 4 recap

Episode 4 of Beast Games Season 2 picked up where the third episode left off. The previous episode introduced the Captain Bribe game, which gave five captains the option to take a life-changing payout at the cost of eliminating their own teams. The episode ended on a cliffhanger after someone pressed the button. Episode 4 revealed that the person who pressed it was JT. He did it for $1 million.

"I don't really got much to say," JT replied when MrBeast asked if he had anything to say to his eliminated teammates. "That's all I really gotta say. I know the rest of the teams probably won't talk to me moving forward. No one really wants to hear from me. I have to live with that decision. I'm sorry to my pink team. Did it for my family, who means the world to me."

Beast Games Season 2 Episode 4 results

Beast Games Season 2 Episode 4 then moved on with the top 20 contestants hunting for 10 hidden cannonballs. The first 10 contestants who found a cannonball got to compete for a $1.8 million private island. When they arrived at the island, they met Jeff Probst.

Probst explained that the next Beast Games challenge ran five-on-five relay style with each player completing a different task. The first player tossed coconuts to get a key, the second sorted tiles for another key, the third landed a ball on a narrow perch, the fourth maneuvered a ball along a cable track, and the fifth player did a jigsaw puzzle.

In the end, the yellow team won. The other team's players no longer had the chance to win the island, but they were still part of the overall Beast Games competition.

The next challenge was the Get a Grip one from Survivor. The participants had to hold on to a pole for as long as possible. Ethan ended up taking a bribe in the end, which allowed Ian and JC to advance further.

Ian and JC gave speeches about why they should win the island. In the end, Ian won after his heartfelt speech. All eight contestants voted for him.

A twist then arrived. JC received a $10 million coin.

"If you make it to the top six, I will let you flip this coin to double the prize pool to $10 million," MrBeast explained. "But if you get eliminated before then, the coin is eliminated with you and the prize pool will stay at $5 million guaranteed."

He then asked what was going on in JC's mind. The contestant replied with one word: "Leverage."
