Yatoro has made a comeback to Team Spirit with the start of the new year. Unfortunately, Satanic moves to the substitute position.

Team Spirit have called upon one of their superstars to bolster the team’s results in 2025. Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk returns to the active roster, replacing Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov and completing the lineup.

Yatoro returns to Team Spirit, Satanic moves to substitute

Yatoro went inactive along with Mira back in September last year. Team Spirit brought on Aleksandr "rue" Filin and Satanic as their replacement. The decision followed Team Spirit’s 9th to 12th place finish at The International 2024 where they lost 1-2 to Xtreme Gaming.

Maga kept his word and he is back in January and ready to roll. He’s already sitting at the bootcamp with a semi-box haircut and he grabs a dumbbell whenever he feels like it. I am glad to welcome our tiger.

With the new roster, the team had several top-tier performances. They finished in the top four of all but one tournament. They lost early on to Heroic in the BLAST Slam 1 ending up in the 9th to 10th place. Despite their top placements, including a 3rd place finish at DreamLeague Season 24 and a 4th place finish at ESL One Bangkok, the team failed to win a single tournament.

The choice was made in favor of a more experienced and mature player in favor of a legend of the organization. It’s a real shame to part with Alan. He’s a unique player with a youthful enthusiasm who was not given a chance to fully blossom because of Murphy’s Law and various circumstances.

Yatoro brings with him years of experience of being at the top. Having helped Team Spirit win two Internationals in 2021 and 2023 plus several other tournaments such as the PGL Arlington Major, WePlay Animajor, Yatoro has all the experience required to help carve the best out of a team.

Here are some of Yatoro’s achievements over the years:

  • The International 2021
  • The International 2023
  • PGL Wallachia Season 1
  • DreamLeague Season 21
  • PGL Arlington Major
  • Riyadh Masters 2023

Yatoro plays in the Position 1 carry role, meaning Satanic will have to go inactive. The organization revealed that Gallyamov will be a substitute on the team for the time being.
