Xtreme Gaming will debut a new pair of supports at DreamLeague Season 24. Find out the team’s new roster here.

In a significant move within the Dota 2 esports scene, Xtreme Gaming has officially announced changes to its team roster. This announcement comes in the wake of numerous roster shuffles following The International, which concluded on September 15. As part of this restructuring, Xtreme Gaming has decided to part ways with two of its players: Zhao "XinQ" Zixing and Ding "Dy" Cong.

XinQ and DY have made indelible contributions to XG's honour and growth during their time on the team. We sincerely thank the two for their hard work, and although we are reluctant to part, we have no choice but to say goodbye. We wish the two of you a thousand miles in the future, and there will be a wind to come.

Xtreme Gaming's Dota 2 roster

  • Wang "Ame" Chunyu
  • Guo "Xm" Hongcheng
  • Lin "Xxs" Jing
  • Xiong "Pyw" Jiahan
  • Jiang "天命" An (Tian Ming)

XinQ's departure

The first notable departure is that of the prominent support player, Xinq, who is being transferred to an inactive state. At just 26 years old, Xinq has been a cornerstone of the team, widely praised for his exceptional performance and skill. His departure comes as a shock to the community, as he has been integral to Xtreme Gaming's performance. As of now, Xinq has not announced his future plans.

Dy's departure

Alongside Xinq, Xtreme Gaming has also parted ways with its position 5, or hard support player, Dy. Having been with the team since November 2021, Dy is one of the longest-serving members of Xtreme Gaming. His contributions have played a vital role in the team's journey, and his transfer to an inactive state marks the end of an era for the organization.

New additions to the roster

In light of these departures, Xtreme Gaming has brought in two new players to fill the gaps. Pyw joins the team as a substitute in the position 4, while Tian Ming steps in as a substitute in the position 5. Both players are well-known figures in the Chinese Dota 2 scene and are expected to bring valuable experience and fresh perspectives to the team.

Xtreme Gaming will debut its new roster soon

Xtreme Gaming will debut this new lineup at the highly-anticipated DreamLeague Season 24. The tournament is set to run from Oct 27 to Nov 10 and will feature 16 teams competing for a staggering prize pool of $1 million.
