World of Warcraft China shared a detailed announcement about this sponsorship, highlighting that Valve suddenly prohibited any sponsor advertisements at TI13 just one week before the event and without prior communication. This decision affected the interests of many sponsors, some of whom have already withdrawn their support.

Teams express their gratitude

After the sponsorship was announced, G2×iG expressed their thanks on Weibo, saying, “We appreciate NetEase for continuing their support during these challenging times. For 20, Dota and World of Warcraft players have been one community. We will work together with both communities to fight on! TI13 on Sept. 4. See you there. For Azeroth! We push forward!”
