Despite no longer commanding the massive prize pools of yester years, The International is the event to win in Dota 2 esports. This year, The International heads back to Copenhagen, Denmark, bringing sixteen of the world’s best teams in action to the event.

Valve recently released the 7.36 Dota 2 gameplay update that introduced several new changes. These include Hero Facets, changes to existing items and talents and more. The update, which many Dota 2 personalities feel is much bigger than any other previous update will fundamentally change the game and the way it’s played over the next few months. With Hero Facets, there’s no multiple ways to approach the game, in what was already a very complex MOBA.
