TSM and Shopify Rebellion will represent NA at the Lima Major

The North American teams for the upcoming Lima Major have been set! Both TSM and Shopify Rebellion have decimated the region.

The North American Dota Pro Circuit is in its final stages. The last of the matches are set to take place over the next couple of days. However, two teams already stand atop the region and have qualified for the Lima Major. TSM and Shopify Rebellion have decimated the North American region and have earned their spot at the upcoming Lima Major. Both teams have an outstanding record in the DPC with little to no losses within their respective series.

Shopify Rebellion sweep their way into the Lima Major

Prior to the acquisition of the ex-EG roster, it seemed like it was the end of an era. So for the coveted Evil Geniuses to drop him alongside his fellow teammates was quite the shocking news. However, under a new banner of Shopify Rebellion, Arteezy, Abed, Saberlight, Fly and Crit reminded the Dota 2 community of the powerhouse they are.

Shopify Rebellion has not dropped a single game in any of their series so far. They've cleanly swept through the entire NA Division I without losing a single match. In their series that qualified them for the Major against Nouns earlier today, it seems like despite whatever is thrown their way, they have a solution. With their impressive 12-0 score, it seems like few teams are able to hold back their return.

TSM's new additions putting in work

When TSM rebuilt its roster with Ari, Kasane, and Whitemon there was some skepticism regarding how well they would mesh together. After a singular rocky game against Nouns, TSM has remained undefeated throughout the NA DPC. All the members of TSM have been playing some of the best Dota the community has seen them play. Especially the three new members as they have more to prove so to speak.

Although they haven't come across the favorites of the NA region yet, Shopify Rebellion. That match is set to take place on the 28th and will give us the answer to who's the best in the NA region. Regardless, TSM has secured itself a spot at the Lima Major.

The Lima Major

The first major of the 2023 year is set to start towards the end of February. The first-ever South American Dota 2 major, the Lima major features 18 teams from each of the six regions. Currently, Team Liquid, Team Aster, and Execration have qualified alongside TSM and Shopify Rebellion. So far, the competition is already looking fierce, as there are 13 spots remaining and teams are desperate to start the 2023 season off with a big win.
