Gaimin Gladiators win their Fifth Tier 1 Dota 2 tournament in a row. It truly seems like no team can stop the Gladiators.

Gaimin Gladators have defeated Team Liquid to take home yet another trophy at the Bali Major. The Western European squad is seemingly unstoppable, as their dominant streak at tournaments continues. Now, on their fifth consecutive win (Following the Lima Major, Berlin Major, DreamLeague Season 19, and DreamLeague Season 20), it truly seems like no team can stop them.

Gaimin Gladiators dominate Team Liquid

Team Liquid climbed back through the lower bracket to the Grand Finals after they were knocked down by Tundra Esports. After earlier today, they got their revenge and swept Tundra 2-0 in the Lower Bracket Finals, there was a glimmer of hope for TL. Now it was time to take down the nearly unstoppable train that is Gaimin Gladiators.

In the past, Team Liquid would only take a single match when facing Gaimin. However, with the momentum of their win against Tundra, the community was hopeful that the era of GG would end. That Team Liquid would put a stop to their streak and take down the four-time champions.

Game one between Gaimin Gladiators and Liquid started off the series with a bang. The 48-minute match was back-and-fourth, but Quinn Callahan's deathless Timbersaw was just too much to handle. However, Game Two sparked hope for Team Liquid. Utilizing a Leshrac carry paired with a Wisp, Team Liquid evened up the series in a close game. Unfortunately, that's as hopeful as it got for Liquid, as Gaimin proceeded to pull out the big guns in the following two games.

These two games were both quick and decisive victories for Gaimin Gladiators, with both matches ending in under 30 minutes. Game three was noticeably rough, as Liquid had to call it quits at 21 minutes as their triple ranged core lineup could not deal with  Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov Slark.

The Gaimin Gladiators are the Champions of Bali

Gaimin Gladiators are taking home both the prize pool as well as the illustrious trophy of the Bali Major. Their dominance continues and the Dota 2 community waits in great anticipation to see whether anyone can take down the Gladiators. With the next major tournament being Riyadh Masters around the corner, we'll just have to see what the other teams are cooking up to take down the champions of the colloseum.

For their victory, Gaimin Gladiators have taken home the $200,000 USD prize money, the illustrious trophy, and have cemented themselves and their legacy once more the best Dota 2 team in the world.
