Here’s how you can support your favorite teams this year

Valve released a massive update today with the release of the new hero, information about The International 2024 as well as Compendium. There’s also the Team Supporters Club that will allow players to support their favorite players and Dota 2 organizations. Here’s all we know about the Team Supporters Club.

What is the Team Supporters Club?

The team supporters club is a way for players to support their favorite teams and players. 50% of all proceeds from the Team Supporters Club will go directly to the teams and players.

"Esteemed benefactors! Philanthropists of all ages! Humble patrons of the killing and killing-adjacent arts! 50% of your magnanimous munificence will go directly into your favorite teams and broadcast talents! Who's the real hero here? Me, obviously! Clapping my humongous heroic hands for YOU!"

Currently, the Team Supporters page has 16 teams enlisted. These sixteen teams have already made it to The International 2024.

  • Team Spirit
  • Xtreme Gaming
  • Team Falcons
  • Team Liquid
  • Gaimin Gladiators
  • BetBoom Team
  • Cloud9
  • Tundra Esports
  • 1Win Team
  • Team Zero
  • G2 x iG
  • Talon Esports
  • Aurora
  • Nouns
  • HEROIC
  • Beastcoast

Each team has three tiers of supporters club. The Bronze tier is the cheapest and will show off players’ allegiances to their favorite team. The silver tier costs a bit more but includes three Sprays as well as two loading screens.

Finally, the Gold Tier of Supporters Club will grant exclusive access to the team’s choice of chat wheel voice lines. In addition, the team’s logo will also be displayed near the HP bar of heroes in-game.  There’s also three HP Bar emoticons for players to show off their support for their favorite team.

The Dota 2 Compendium has also been released and 25% of all Compendium proceeds go towards boosting The International 2024 prize pool. The Teleport FX Level 3 includes a logo of your favorite team’s (from the Supporter’s Club). The theme for this year’s Compendium is Carnvial and goes in line with the release of the Puppet Master who brings a unique perspective to the game.
