Team Spirit eliminates PSG.LGD from the Lima Major in an intense three-game series.

Team Spirit eliminates PSG.LGD from the Lima Major in an intense three-game series in round one of the lower bracket.

The series was grueling, with survival on the line for both teams, with Team Spirit and PSG.LGD being one of the two remaining Eastern European and Chinese teams at the Lima Major.

However, it wasn't PSG.LGD's day as the European team once again became a thorn in the former's side, as has been the norm for the past couple of years.

Team Spirit live to fight another day at the Lima Major

With the win, Team Spirit advance to round two of the Lima Major lower bracket, where they await the winner between Talon Esports vs. HellRaisers.

The first game lasted for 43 minutes, with Spirit opting for an aggressive draft, whereas PSG.LGD opted for a passive draft as compared to the former.

However, the Chinese couldn't mount a comeback after falling behind most of the time during the game and eventually had to accept defeat.

In game two, it was exactly the reverse scenario with PSG.LGD opting for a more active draft, whereas Spirit went for a more passive draft as compared to the earlier game.

NothingToSay and Shiro just dominated the game through and through on Storm Spirit and Ursa Warrior, respectively.

While Shiro ended the game with 13 kills and 2 deaths, NTS's spectacular display of dominance with a 16-0 score single-handedly turned PSG.LGD's fortune.

The decider game was a lopsided debacle for PSG.LGD.

Team Spirit was dictating the game from the get-go with Yatoro's Drow Ranger coming online since the early game.

PSG.LGD was left dumbfounded as their supports couldn't perform well and fed the core players on the opposite team.

NothingToSay didn't secure even a single kill in the deciding game, which was evident enough to signal the Chinese team's apparent downfall.

To end the day, it was survival of the fittest and Team Spirit was better suited to be in this position.

Team Spirit in, PSG.LGD out!
