Puppey is the only player to have qualified for all 11 Internationals, keeping his streak alive with Team Secret’s latest qualification.

Team Secret has officially qualified for TI11 after defeating Virtus.pro in the Upper Bracket Finals of the Last Chance Qualifiers, and with the win, Clement “Puppey” Ivanov continues his steak. The Team Secret captain and support player will attend his 11th Dota international, the only player to do so.

The TI streak continued as Puppey and the rest of Team Secret saw off Virtus.pro in two straight games. Starting out game one with the 44-minute slog-fest, Secret ended the match with a hyper frantic team fight that saw every member of both teams buyback when able. In a fight that was literally too long to fully clip, the Team Secret outlasted their EEU opponents to claim game one.

Game two, saw VP ban away almost every previous pick from Team Secret. However, they let though both Baqyt "Zayac" Emiljanov’s Nyx Assassin, which proceeded to complete the LCQ with an 8-0 record, and Primal Beast. Out drafting their opponents with the offlane Primal Beast, Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok was able to be a difference maker with the hero. Team Secret secured the series 2-0 as VP gg’d out after 28 minutes.

Puppey’s 11th TI, continues the streak

Following the game, Puppey and the rest of the team were jubilant, with Puppey popping off and celebrating the victory.

The elation continued as Team Secret embraced. The team is the penultimate team to qualify for The International 2022.

Puppey’s saga with The International is truly legendary. Having attended every single edition of the tournament, and winning it in its debut, Puppey has become a staple of the event. A TI without Puppey would be like Christmas without Santa Claus, macaroni without cheese, fish without chips.

Puppey and the rest of Team Secret will have a few days to relax and prepare. Their TI11 journey continues on October 15th.
