Team Secret opts for familiar faces in this groundbreaking post-TI12 roster shuffle.
There have been plenty of rumors when it comes to the vigorous post-TI12 roster shuffle period. But not many - or possibly none at all - saw this coming. MidOne, who last played for Team Secret in the glorious 2019 era, rejoins the organization.
Other than that, BOOM, who played for Team Secret five months ago, will also wear the black and white jersey once more. This new roster will be led by a new coach, ah fu, as their former coach, Heen, takes a break.
Team Secret reveals its full roster for ESL One Kuala Lumpur below.
- Remco "Crystallis" Arets
- Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng
- Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan
- Daniyal "yamich" Lazebnyy
- Clement "Puppey" Ivanov
Team Secret welcomes MidOne again after four years
The Dota 2 competitive scene is about to get wild! Team Secret is one of the teams that have joined the roster shuffle shenanigans, bringing back two of its former players. One of them is MidOne, the 27-year-old Malaysian with plenty of history with Team Secret.
Under Team Secret's banner, MidOne had a glorious period. He collected three Major victories - the Chongqing Major, the MDL Disneyland Paris Major, and the DreamLeague Season 8 Major - among many others. His best achievement at TI is a top 4 finish at The International 2019.

However, after TI9, MidOne's journey in the pro scene would gradually crumble. He had a disappointing stint with OG and his latest efforts in leading Team SMG didn't see fruition. Even though he recently made it to TI12, Team SMG still faced a rough Group Stage elimination.
Entering the 2024 season, MidOne makes his way back to Western Europe. Hopefully, the midlaner - who has continuously swapped roles in the past few years - will find his former prodigal spark in his old glorious home.
More roster shuffles ahead!
That is not all for roster shuffles as more will come (possibly soon!). Teams are now finalizing their roster for the upcoming ESL One Kuala Lumpur which will take place in late December. The tournament will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with twelve teams clashing for a slice of $1 million.
