Are you guys up for some crazy Dota action? Moonduck Studios will hold an Ability Draft tournament this coming Sunday!
Moonduck Studios returns with another fun tournament for the Dota 2 community! The tournament’s game mode will be a 5v5 Ability Draft and it is open for up to 64 teams. Moonduck prepared a $2,400 prize pool and players can participate for free. The registration is currently ongoing, so for interested players, hurry up and register before the tournament starts!

Moonduck’s Ability Draft Details
Dota 2 players now have the chance to join an Ability Draft tournament organized by Moonduck Studios. The tournament will start on 14th November 2021. The registration is currently ongoing and it will close on 13th November 2021.
Registration date: 5th November - 13th November 2021
Tournament date: 14th November 2021
The event will run on FACEIT on the US East server, but it is open for anyone from any country and region to participate. The tournament will have a format of BO1 single-elimination up until the grand final, which will be a BO3.
This tournament not only offers a competitive AD opportunity, but also a prize pool of $2,400, which will be distributed among the top 8 of the tournament. Here is the prize pool distribution of Monnduck's Ability Draft:
1st: $1000
2nd: $500
3rd - 4th: $250
5th - 8th: $100
Moonduck’s Ability Draft will be open for up to 64 teams and it is completely free to enter.
Purge and SirActionSlacks will cast your games!
MoonduckTV will broadcast the tournament and two well-known talents, Kevin "Purge" Godec and Jake "SirActionSlacks" Kanner will accompany the viewers with their top-tier casting. Players will have a chance to have their games on air with the entertaining duo giving their commentary, and it is definitely an exciting opportunity!
What is Ability Draft?
Ability Draft is a game mode in Dota 2 that is a little more unique than others. The game randoms a hero to each player but all of them will have no abilities. A pool will be made of the 10 heroes’ abilities plus 2 more random heroes’ abilities. In the initial phase, the players will take turns choosing abilities and ultimates for their heroes. This game mode has a lot more random elements and it creates infinite possibilities for the game.
Ability Draft is definitely a chaotic mode that is entertaining due to its random nature and bizarre circumstances.
