Misha spent nearly three years of his career in OG.
OG and Dota 2 coach Mikhail "Misha" Agatov have gone separate ways, the organization announced on August 14.
The Russian coach was part of OG's coaching staff since March 2023, but he also played for OG between November 2021 and March 2023 and coached them previously from September 2021 to November 2021.
Misha's removal from OG's Dota 2 staff comes after a string of mixed results this year as OG failed to impress in numerous tier-one tournaments such as BetBoom Dacha Dubai (9th-12th) in February, ESL One Birmingham (fourth place) in April, and more recently the Riyadh Masters 2024 (9th-12th) in July.
On top of that, OG bowed out to Natus Vincere Junior at the International 2024 Wested Europe Closed Qualifier, thus missing the most prestigious Dota 2 event of the year for the second year in a row.
How was Misha's dismissal announced?
Neither OG nor Misha talked much about his departure at the time of this writing. The organization thanked Misha for his services and called him one of the "faces of OG 2.0".
The Russian coach, on the other hand, also thanked OG for their time together.

Is OG hiring a new Dota 2 coach?
As of the moment, it remains unclear whether OG is planning to bring a new Dota 2 coach on board. However, this will likely happen in the coming weeks as it will be unwise to keep playing tournaments without a head coach, especially at this time when OG are struggling to be competitive.
A couple of fans on Reddit speculated that current captain and OG co-founder Sébastien "Ceb" Debs might hang up his mouse once again and transition to head coach. Ceb was OG's coach when they won both the Boston Major in December 2016 and the Kiev Major in April 2017.
