One series determines all. Execration and Army Geniuses duke it out for the SEA DPC’s final spot at the Berlin Major.

The final Major slot for the Southeast Asia (SEA) Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) is up for grabs. Two teams will have only one chance to secure their place. This means there will be no tiebreakers; the winner takes all. Will it be Execration, the Filipino powerhouse that was once the number one SEA DPC champion? Or will it be the Division I first timers, Army Geniuses? Find out today, Mar. 31, 10:00 PM PST or 1:00 PM SGT. Series results and breakdown will be updated live.

Series breakdown: Draft, KDA, net worth and more

Game one went swimmingly for the side of Army Geniuses as they took Execration down with ease. With all of AG's cores ahead of Execration's within the first 10 minutes of the game, anyone can tell that they had the game in the bag. Army Geniuses drafted an unexpected eight-pick Night Stalker. What was even more surprising was that the hero went to Muhammad "inYourdreaM" Rizky as the pos 1.

Yet it proved to be super effective against Execration's 18th-pick Anti Mage. In addition to the Keeper of the Light's control, Anti Mage had no chance once he was caught in a Will-O-Wisp and Crippling Fear. And when they thought they had a potential reprieve after an impressive Aegis steal, Execration still managed to get wiped by Army Geniuses at the Roshan pit. The game was called not long after.

Game two: Execration win

A complete turnaround from the first game. This time, Execration were the ones to stomp Army Geniuses. The zoo power is strong in this one as they brought out the Visage on the offlane, one of the rarest picked heroes in DPC SEA with just 12 percent contest rate. However, it was the last-pick Shadow Fiend for Mark "Bob" Urbina on pos 2 that proved to be successful. Army Geniuses was forced to tap out in just 22 minutes.

With this win, Execration has one more life line to earn their spot at the Berlin Major. Both games have been one-sided thus far. Will game three bring about the spice and action that many love about the SEA region?

Game three: Execration win

And the heat level did in fact rise in the third game. A huge contrast from the first two, game three looked almost even for both sides. While Execration did have the advantage at the start, Army Geniuses managed to bring back the status quo during the mid game after a strong high ground defense--though only momentarily. In the end, Execration dominated Army Geniuses with solid team fights coming from Jinn "Palos" Lamatao's unorthodox pos 1 Dawnbreaker.

So close yet so far for Army Geniuses

Despite their very first rodeo at Division I, Army Geniuses had a powerful showing and came close to Berlin Major. Unfortunately, it was just not in the stars for them this time around. On the other hand, Execration now has another chance to prove their mettle at a Major. Let's see if they can produce better results than that of Lima.
