With the culmination of the Esports World Cup 2025 regional qualifiers, all teams are now locked in for the upcoming event.
Regional qualifiers for the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 are now over, with all sixteen teams heading to the event now locked in. There were some major upsets along the way. And a fair few big names are not making it through to the main event. But the qualifiers proved a fantastic showcase of the power of some unexpected candidates.
With that in mind, below is a list of every team that qualified for the EWC 2025 event, and all directly invited teams.
EWC 2025: All qualified teams
Regional qualifiers for EWC took place from June 5 to 13. Over this period, 6 separate regions competed to claim a single spot available to each. While China also found themselves with a regional qualifier, this took place as the Asian Champions League event, where Xtreme Gaming defied the odds to take down Team Tidebound (now All Gamers Global).
The remaining regions saw teams such as OG, Natus Vincere, Team Secret, Nigma Galaxy, and many more in contention. Unfortunately, with only one slot available for each region, there were bound to be some major casualties along the way.
On the Southeast Asian front, the biggest surprise came when BOOM Esports failed to secure a grand finals victory. Leaving players such as Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong on the sidelines of the EWC. While for the Eastern European qualifier, we witnessed an open qualifier winner, with Alexey "Solo" Berezin’s Cyber Goose squad’s shocking dominance.
