Teams can sign up for the ESL One Birmingham Open Qualifiers which starts on January 22nd.

ESL Pro Tour (EPT)'s first LAN event, the ESL One Birmingham, will begin its operations soon. The $1 million dollar Dota 2 tournament kickstarts in April 2024, which is a far two months away. But those vying to qualify for this tournament will have to register and play in the ESL One Birmingham qualifiers next week.

ESL One Birmingham Open Qualifiers dates

  • Open Qualifiers #1: January 22 - 23
  • Open Qualifiers #2: January 24 - 25

There will be two rounds of Open Qualifiers for ESL One Birmingham. One will take place on January 22 to 23 and the second one follows right after on January 24 to 25.

The Open Qualifiers and Closed Qualifiers will be held for seven regions - North America, South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East and North Africa, China, and Southeast Asia. It is open for all to participate so if you're interested, make sure to register your team before January 22.

The ESL One Birmingham is set to take place on April 22 and culminate on April 28. This tournament will gather passionate Dota 2 fans in Birmingham, United Kingdom on the final three days of the event.

BetBoom Team, Xtreme Gaming, Gaimin Gladiators, and Team Liquid are the four teams that have been invited. These teams bagged the highest EPT Points from the 2023 season and are confirmed to participate.

We'll see eight more teams make it into the tournament through the qualifiers. All regions have only one qualifying slot except for Eastern Europe which will have two teams advancing to the tournament.
