The DreamLeague Season 25 is the first big Dota 2 event of the year and features some of the best teams in attendance. Kicking off the new year with the regional qualifiers, teams are slowly getting their invites to the event. DreamLeague Season 25 teams
Tournament format
DreamLeague Season 25 has 16 teams in participation. The tournament comprises of three different stages with each stage eliminating a few teams. The first Group Stage 1 kicks off on February 16 and will continue until February 19.
Group Stage 1: February 16-19, 2025
- Two Groups of eight teams each
- Single Round-robin format
- Bo2 series
- Top four teams advance to Group Stage 2
- The bottom eight teams face elimination
Group Stage 2: February 21-27, 2025
- One single team of eight teams
- All matches are best-of-three series
- Top two teams advance to the Upper bracket playoffs
- The third and fourth-placed teams move to the lower bracket of the playoffs
- The remaining teams are eliminated from the event
Playoffs: March 1-2, 2025
- Double elimination bracket
- All matches (except Grand Final) are best-of-three series
- Grand Final is best-of-five series.

Each participating team at the DreamLeague Season 25 will receive some form of prize money. While the winner obviously takes home the biggest share of the prize pool, even teams that come in dead last at 15-16th will get some monetary compensation.
