Widespread hero adjustments arrive in Dota 2’s newest patch, Patch 7.37e.

Crownfall Act IV arrived last week, and many had hoped Valve would include a balance patch with it after a few pesky heroes began to take over the meta. That balance patch arrived today, however, with Patch 7.37e landing on servers earlier today.

Here's a breakdown of Dota 2 Patch 7.37e including buffs, nerfs, adjustments, and more.

We've divided the hero updates into one of four tiers: major buff (an important and game-changing power boost), minor buff (a small tweak to performance), minor nerf (a slight drop in power level), and major nerf (a massive adjustment changing the hero for the worse).

Not every hero patch note is included in the below table. If the change is minimal, we won't include it — check the full patch notes below for the exact change.

Medusa's time at the top of the carry win rate charts is surely over after Valve pulled the trigger on some big nerfs with 7.37e today. Venomous Volley, the go-to Facet option for the Gorgon, has been hit hard.

Illusions will no longer apply the Facet's poison effects, and now that it scales with an ability, it reaches the same effectiveness later in the game. It also forces Medusa players to max Split Shot early when Mana Shield and Mystic Snake are arguably better early and mid-game abilities.

Mana Shield absorbs less damage and Split Shot's outgoing damage has dropped a touch in the late game. Her win rate currently sits above all others at 56.56% according to Dotabuff — but how far will she fall now?

While we're on the topic of big nerfs, we can't ignore Enchantress. Enchant's mana cost has been nearly doubled in the early game meaning extra management for ganking, and her Nature's Attendants healing capability has been hit with a duration nerf early, too.

Pre level six, Ench players will need to be careful when ganking or in lane!

Ringmaster finally gets Aghanim's Scepter upgrade

At long last, Dota 2's court jester Ringmaster has received his Aghanim's Scepter upgrade — and it looks to be a good one!

The support hero was released exactly 89 days ago but came without a Hero Facet or an Aghanim's Scepter upgrade, something every Dota 2 hero is supposed to have. While we're still waiting on alternate Facets, we do now have the Scepter upgrade for Escape Act.

Escape Act, with Agh's Scepter, will now have two charges. When the allied hero bursts open from the box, enemies nearby take additional magic damage and eight Implement Arts daggers are thrown out in all directions. These daggers have half the range of a standard dagger.

Two charges of this escape ability is already strong enough but the additional damage and slow from the dagger hits will make this a must-buy on Ringmaster.
