Pure out, Resolut1on in.
Bali Major is in chaos after viewers spotted BetBoom's offlaner, Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko, stream sniping during an in-game pause vs Tundra Esports. This clear violation of the rules leads to the disqualification of Pure from the Bali Major. Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok will replace him throughout the remainder of the tournament.
"A stream was open (on Pure's screen) and we confirmed that it is obviously not according to the rules and as a result, Pure is disqualified from not just the series but for the rest of the event. And as a result, Resolut1on has been chosen by BetBoom Team to be the stand-in for the remainder of the event," Tsunami stated on stream.

Resolut1on stands in for BetBoom Team
Notable CIS offlaner, Resolut1on, is currently a part of the broadcast talent lineup for Bali Major. He has been doing the paneling dues, but it seems like he'll soon leave the broadcast desk to join the player booth. He has a great competitive record including a runner-up placement at TI11 with Team Secret.
Resolut1on has previously played with BetBoom Team as a stand-in during the Berlin Major. At that time, Pure couldn't make it due to VISA issues. Resolut1on and BetBoom Team settled at the 13th-14th place at the Berlin Major.
Here is BetBoom Team's Bali Major roster following Pure's disqualification:
- Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko
- Danil "gpk" Skutin
- Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok (Stand in)
- Vitalie "Save-" Melnic
- Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Khertek

BetBoom Team has one more chance to score a TI12 invite
Only last night, BetBoom was celebrating their TI12 invite. But things took a grim turn on the second day of the Bali Major playoffs. Pure's clip of him watching a Twitch stream during their series vs Tundra Esports surfaced and IO Esports penalized the team with a default loss.
This led to BetBoom Team losing their Upper Bracket spot. They are now sitting on the brink of elimination. Not only that, they also lost their TI12 invite and now Pure is disqualified, forcing them to play with an abrupt stand-in.
The team now has to cross into the top 8 of the tournament through the Lower Bracket to regain the direct invite. However, if BetBoom gets eliminated by Azure Ray, they'll miss a direct invite and have to go through the TI12 Regional Qualifier.
