Twistzz CS: GO Crosshair and viewmodel settings

Learn from the best. The Canadian player has proved himself repeatedly on the big stage. Do you think his settings will help you improve your game?

One of the best CS: GO players from Canada, Twistzz has been a formidable force in tier 1 Counter-Strike. The former TSM and Misfits player got an opportunity on Team Liquid and proved his worth on the international stage. He is currently playing for FaZe Clan and is one of the core members of the roster. Here are Twistzz’s CS: GO Crosshair settings and viewmodel settings.

What are Twistzz crosshair settings?

The CS: GO crosshair is singularly the most important part of the game. It if often the biggest thing you see on your screen that directly affects your aim. Different players have different crosshairs, each suitable to your desk placement, your eyesight and basically anything else that could potentially affect your performance.

The viewmodel is the size of the weapon that you hold in your hands. The size and shape of the viewmodel affects how much of the screen is visible to you. Often players at the highest levels change their viewmodel settings to see more of the map and gain that fraction of a second of advantage over their opponents.

  • viewmodel_offset_x 2.5
  • viewmodel_offset_y 0
  • viewmodel_offset_z -1.5

  • cl_viewmodel_shift_left_amt 1.5
  • cl_viewmodel_shift_right_amt 0.75
  • viewmodel_recoil 0
  • cl_righthand 1

Twistzz plays with the right-hand viewmodel which is pretty common amongst CS: GO players. There are players that like to change the cl_righthand value depending on certain corners and their movement mid-game.

Bob setting

The Bob settings in Counter-Strike are essentially the amount of movement your gun does while you run across the map. Usually at lower ranks, it doesn’t matter as much. But at higher ranks, the slight movement can be distracting.

  • cl_bobamt_lat 0.33
  • cl_bobamt_vert 0.14
